I never could find out, how "" and "learnings" have joined football to provide means to help to pay for someone's way to college. Nevertheless, today and during long time, students are awarded by "learning" which has no relation to progress. The college community has this category named "Help Based on a merit" in what, aspiring students of college are awarded by "learning" to visit specific establishment. The help based on a merit is awarded for academic, sports, or artistic work hence a part of "merit" of a category, the student "deserves" the program of the help from the establishment based on the previous "laudable" work in a class room, sphere court, a balance beam, sphere game, or group.
All this "learning", academic, sports, professional, is technically "grants in support" from specific establishment. No REAL money actually passes to other owner (except for the small grant in certain cases). These grants in support - actually discounts where the student is not accused that other students are accused for training, books, etc. them, only the academic compensation - really "learning" because it is awarded for "the academic" work.
Learning, money of grants in support - how colleges involve scientific students, athletes, and artists who increase cost to college. The higher qualitative scientist, the athlete, the artist who registers college, the better college is apprehended. But there is a small known secret about "the Help Based on a merit" which is rejected quickly by people: you should not be in the best of 10 % of your class, the all-world sportsman, or following Picasso who will receive one of this "learning". You only should arrive to someone's attention someone in college, and to be constants.
Sometimes "the unusual" student is "unusual enough" to "deserve" some "the Help Based on a merit."
I know about the student who had solid 3.2 high schools S.B.B., who was given the Western assignment of Point and 11 full academic offers of "learning" from the main colleges. I know that it is true, because it was I. I have visited university of the Christian of Texas on full learning, continued to receive my Owners (someone else paid for that, also), and finally, two doctoral studies (the Doctor of the Ministry on Greek both a Hebrew and the doctor of philosophy in City and the Management from outside the public) that I did not pay for.
